On September 28, 1937, Jack and Kathryn Day arrived in Corbin, Kentucky with $56 in their pockets and an International pickup truck. The following year, they franchised the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Corbin, producing soft drinks by hand and delivering them across ten counties from a single truck.
Nearly nine decades later, Pepsi Bottling Company of Corbin is still family-owned, still independent, and still committed to the same communities Jack and Kathryn set out to serve. From a 200-case-a-day hand operation to a 140,000+ square foot production and distribution facility, the company has grown alongside the region it calls home.
In 2025, Pepsi Corbin expanded its operations by acquiring Pepsi Southwest Virginia, extending the family's legacy of independent bottling into a new region while preserving the local relationships and service that define both companies.
